English (UK) The isostatic press operating chamber is made as a hollow cylinder with a bottom. The force resulting from the operating pressure is withstood by the threaded bayonet connection.
THE REPAIR OF THE CHAMBER HAS INVOLVED THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS:
• examination of the chamber condition by nondestructive test methods to detect a defect zone;
• calculation of the stress-strain behavior of the chamber, selection of weld materials, and designing of the repair techniques;
• setting of the detected defect for furtherwelding;
• welding a joint;
• examination of the chamber conditions by nondestructive test methods of the repaired zone control.
