The area is intended for calibration (forming) of pipe ends for further threading.

Our company completed the project, manufacture and commissioning of the entire area in cooperation with “ATELIERS ROCHE” (France), the supplier of two forming presses.

The area involves actually two presses for calibration of pipe ends, an inductor and a sprayer to relieve stress, and transport mechanization consisting of 15 types of transport equipment.

These are a chain conveyor, circular shifters, elevating prisms, transport rollers, rollers for rotating the pipe.

All the equipment performs the processing of the ends of the tubes and passes the tube in the workshop system to perform subsequent operations is in automatic cycle.

The total weight of the supplied equipment is over 86 tons.

The movement of pipes in the area is effected by transverse chain conveyor. All the pipes are in the locating blocks mounted in the circuit. After the pipe exits on the technological position, it is lifted out of the chain conveyor by the elevating prisms, and further the following manufacturing operation is performed:

- loading / unloading of the pipe in the press

- loading / unloading of the pipe in the zone of the inductor or spayers.
