English (UK) Pipe quenching unit (sprayer) is aimed at feeding cooling liquid to the pipe surface during passing through the quenching rolling table.
Each unit consists of a cooling liquid feed chamber, where 1,070 injection nozzles are installed. The nozzles are mounted at manifolds, which may rotate through general driving force about the pipe outer generating line to ensure annular whirling water flow on a pipe outer surface area.

The unit is designed and manufactured by Intermashstroy LLC for Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant, JSC to replace original assembly by SMSMEER.
